1. We are happy to provide a moratorium facility for our customers who are seeking it from us and are eligible as per RBI guidelines. Please note that the grant of the Moratorium is at the management’s discretion.
2. To apply for the moratorium please login and avail, we will activate the moratorium for the unpaid EMI of March 2020, April 2020 if any, and for EMI of April and May 2020.
- Request for Moratorium should be received at least two days before your next EMI Due date
- Customers are requested to provide inputs on the below pointers as mandatory for us to able to take a decision in accepting your request for the Moratorium:
- Salaried: Is your salary payment impacted due to COVID19?
- Self Employed / Business: Is your Sales / Payments impacted due to COVID19
Note: ECLFL, ERFL, EHFL may seek additional information to establish the grant of Moratorium
3. Interest will continue to accrue on the EMIs for which moratorium is provided at the same rate as contracted for the respective loan, and such interest will be collected as per applicable interest rate from you. An updated loan repayment schedule will reach you by email after the end of the Moratorium period.
4. Further, we are pleased to confirm that no Cheque bounce charges, or overdue charges will be levied to your account for such EMIs covered under moratorium.
5. In case you have overdues prior to March 01, 2020, this point 4 will apply to you.
- As per RBI guidelines , Financial Institution are permitted to extend moratorium only for instalments of loan which are due between 1st March 2020 and May 31 2020. There can be no moratorium on overdues prior to 1st March 2020.
- Hence in case you have any overdue instalments and/ or other dues pertaining to the loan repayment prior to 1st March 2020, we request you to kindly pay such overdue instalments/ other amount overdue immediately, to avoid normal penal charges and to avoid reporting to bureau.
